i am now a certified wedding planner :)

For anyone who is serious about becoming a wedding planner, I highly recommend The Bridal Society Wedding Certification Course! I cannot even begin to tell you how much information i crammed in my head over the past two days and it feels phenomenal!

Laurie Hartwell
The course is taught by the amazing Laurie Hartwell,
Owner of A Wedding To Remember && President of
The Bridal Society. Combined with her twenty plus years of experience and incredible personality you cannot afford to miss out on this course!! I have gained confidence, pride and
a new ambition to own my own business, that I never
would have thought possible before this course!!

Thank you so much Laurie, you are truly incredible!
Laurie & her husband Philip tour around the U.S. so look for them in a city near you! It is worth the money people. All of my friends can tell you, I am NOT someone to sugar coat anything or lie about anything that has to do with me spending my time or money.
This course is worth every dollar :)

what's your style?

There are literally hundreds of themes and styles you can select from when planning your event, but do you really want to do the same thing someone else did? No, you want your guests to leave your event thinking wow that reception represented them perfectly! Just be creative and take different styles and themes but twist them together to create your own personalized event. Here are my favorite styles for each season:

{Spring}
 Sweet Country Lovin': charming, intimate, outdoors
{Summer}
 A Midsummer Night's Dream: very romantic, whimsical, fairy tale

{Fall}
A Harvest of Love: rustic, surrounded by nature, colorful

{Winter}
Old Hollywood: vintage, diamonds, red carpet, 1930's art deco
You can find more style and theme ideas at Wedding Theme Ideas.

Choosing the right caterer for you!!

When planning your event, no matter how big or small, it's important to choose the right caterer for a number of reasons. With creative displays, the caterer sets the atmosphere and theme for your guests from the moment they walk into the venue. A caterer can make or break your event so be sure you do your research first, don't select the most expensive one just because you have heard the name! About 25% of your total event budget should be spent on catering.

Here are some of my favorite caterers in the triad area . . .
